Terms of service
The agreement between you and Fernby, in plain language. Last updated 2 March 2026.
Nobody reads these for fun, so we have kept them short. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
Using Fernby
These terms apply when you use the Fernby website or visit the clinic. By booking a visit or registering a pet you agree to them.
You must be 18 or over and the owner of the pet, or have the owner's permission to make decisions about its care.
Booking and cancelling
You can book online or by phone. A booking is confirmed when we text you the time and the price.
Change or cancel free of charge at any time before the visit
Arrive more than 15 minutes late and we may need to rebook you
Miss three visits without notice and we may ask for a deposit
Prices and payment
We show you the price of a visit before you confirm it, and the price of any treatment before it starts. Payment is taken at the clinic after the visit, by card or cash.
If the plan changes during a visit, we stop and ask you before going further.
Wellness plan
The wellness plan is billed monthly per pet and renews until you cancel. You can cancel by phone or email at any time, and your benefits run to the end of the period you have paid for.
Benefits apply only to the pet named on the plan
We give 30 days' notice before any price change
Discounts cannot be combined with other offers
Medical advice
The guides on this website are general information, not a diagnosis. Our nurses can advise by phone, but cannot replace a physical examination where one is needed.
In an emergency, call the clinic or an emergency hospital straight away.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and tell clients by email.
